Marin Lesage is an 18-year-old international student in his first year at Leiden University College, enrolled in the ‘Global Challenges’ curriculum.
Having grown up on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean between the United States (Washington D.C.) and France (Toulouse), Marin always had a very close relationship with the ocean, which led him to take an interest in the environment very early on. But for him, this concern had to lead to action.
In this context, Marin co-founded Children for the Oceans with the aim of raising awareness amongst the youth.
