Dr. Tamaryn Morris is a physical oceanographer and Ocean and Polar Coordinator at SAEON’s Egagasini Node in Cape Town. Her research focuses on the Agulhas Current, mesoscale eddies, and ocean observing systems. She leads projects like the African Coelacanth Ecosystem Programme (ACEP) and the Agulhas System Climate Array (ASCA). Internationally, she serves on the Argo Steering Team and promotes ocean science education through initiatives like SEAmester.
